Today, we’ll meet Laurence Monnet, a Senior Field Application Scientist based out of Germany.
How did you come to work at Promega?
A friend a mine has been working for Promega for 10 years and is really happy. He told be about the FAS position in Kevin Kershner’s team and I applied.
How long have you been working here?
I have been at Promega since February 2019.
Tell us a little bit about what your role is at Promega.
I support branches in Europe for the Maxprep instrument for demo qualification, installation and customer training.
Who would you say has had the most influence on your life?
My family (scientists)
Are you a Star Wars or Star Trek fan or neither?
Neither
Where do you want to travel to, but have never been?
Japan and Vietnam… soon I hope
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Fly, so I don't have to suffer from the Paris strikes
What motivates you to succeed?
Helping people to achieve their success
What does a typical day for you look like?
First coffee, meditation/yoga, emails, calls, meetings, reading, coffee with my neighbor, walking into parc, cooking, evening activity
Describe your “perfect” day.
Wake up early, yoga, walk on the beach, water sport, nice lunch, yin yoga, drink with friends, dinner, early night

A little of piano
